What does it take to wake people up?

Moving forward

They say it takes one person to make a difference, but they can't do it alone. I have not felt well the last few days. Yet, I am doing my best to move forward with my ideas of trying to help homeless people who are making an effort to change, or get out of the situation they have found themselves in.

And, yes, there are many who say it is their own fault they are homeless. They should have planned better and they would not be homeless. Why should I have to help the homeless? They are just plain lazy and it is their own fault they are homeless in the first place.

Thereby for the Grace of God Go I

Here is a question. Why is something so simple to do, so difficult for people to acomplish? How hard is it for a group of friends to get together and work on a small project that would not take very much of their time to do it. Look at the rewards that come with knowing that you helped one person to get off the streets for two days? Once a month. How hard is that to do?

$100-$150.00 a month or $200.00 a month to build one hut for a homeless person. A group of ten people donating $15.00-$20.00 a month. Fifty to sixty cents a day from a group of ten people. Once a month to help one person for two days in a motel room or building one hut a month.

How hard can that be? Some can do more, others less, but it can done. What is stopping you? What excuse do you have?

None!

This could be you too, Thereby for the Grace of God Go I

And the word can spead and new small groups can start and do the samething. And just think how many homeless can be helped by the efforts of a group of 10 in each community.

Expanded into the thousands of groups, each helping one person a month, with two days in a motel room, or a the building of a hut.

How hard is that to do?
